Microsoft announced via the blog di live search blog they are discontinuing all search services related to Keyword Reference searches.
There had been recent developments on live.com many users (including myself) found very useful such as feed: and hasfeed:
During the weekend many had noticed how advanced queries were not working and yesterday the official announcement.
Eytan Seidman Lead Program Manager, Live Search writes from the live search blog:
We have been seeing broad use of these features by legitimate users but unfortunately also what appears to be mass automated usage for data mining. So for now, we have made the tough call to block all queries with these operators.
As usual many pay the price for a few dumb-dumbs …
