    The definition of competency given in this post simply fantastic:

That`s gotta be one of the better reads I`ve seen in a long time, and I read a LOT.. Thanks for sharing. Guess I got a lot to learn about writing; I run several blogs with several different topics, and hence I write a lot. I would say that about half of what I do is editing. Gives me the creeps, to be quite honest.
