Schools re-open in L’Aquila
My blogging hasn’t been very frequent over the past months – those of you following my blog know about the tragic earthquake that hit L’Aquila last April.
It’s been a hard time for us all.
Schools re-opened on Monday and it was a joyful moment …
Signs are “temporary” but hey this school was built in less than 2 months !
We were all curious … especially parents
This was a very special moment.
Nobody knew where to go so there were clear indications 🙂
Construction work finished just hours before school opening
Here is Thomas our younger son on the way to his classroom …
He’s about to see his classmates after 5 months …
It was a very moving moment, one I’ll never forget – Thomas was very happy to see his friends.
There are 2 new children this year, and Thomas was left without a desk, but only for a few minutes …
Moments of a very normal life we have missed so very much.
